DIIaaS is being developed to help bridge critical development disconnections by bringing needs, knowledge, technology, opportunities, initiatives and assistance closer to what can enable their effective use.
It connects these respectively with solutions, application, users, capabilities, capital and beneficiaries, helping relevant resources and opportunities reach where they can create value. The aim is to reduce development friction and enable more informed, connected and sustainable interventions.
DIIaaS is not conceived as software alone. Digital technologies, data and Artificial Intelligence may support discovery, analysis, matching, coordination and learning, while human expertise, verification, judgement, institutional responsibility and accountability remain fundamental.
